Free for your closest five. $99 a year for everyone else you love.
Zibby doesn’t charge by the memory, the minute, or the gigabyte. We charge by how big your Circle gets. Start free, forever. Grow when your family does.
What $99 a year buys everywhere else
Everyone else prices the storyteller. We price the family — and then we let the family get bigger.
Remento
$99 / year
One storyteller. Each additional storyteller is another $99.
Storyworth
$59–$199 / year
A year of questions, then a printed book. Then it’s finished.
Ancestry
$300–$720 / year
One account, records of the dead.
Zibby — $99/year. Fifty people, and an archive that’s still growing in ten years.
Ninety-nine dollars, and we take nothing else.
Zibby costs $99 and that’s the whole transaction. No ads. No feed. We don’t sell your family’s stories and we don’t train models on them. You’re the customer here, not the inventory.
Questions families actually ask
Straight answers about your Circle, your memories, and exactly what happens if your plan changes.
What happens to my memories if I stop paying?
They stay. Your Circle goes back down to five people, but nothing you’ve saved is deleted, locked, or held hostage. Everything remains readable and exportable.
Do you use our stories to train AI?
No. Not now, not later, not ‘anonymized.’ Your memories make your Zibby better for your family, and nothing else.
Is there a free trial?
The free plan is the trial, and it never expires. Save as much as you want with up to five people. Pay when your family outgrows it.
Why one price for the whole family instead of per person?
Because charging your grandmother to accept an invitation is how you kill a family archive. One person pays. Everyone else just gets in.
Can I buy this for someone else?
Yes — and most people do. Gifting a year is the most common way Zibby ends up in a family.
