Our First Entry

Hey everyone, It’s me Brad, The founder of Zibby
As I’ve been building Zibby, I’ve realized something important: if I’m asking people to preserve their stories, I should be preserving our journey in building Zibby too. This blog is my way of capturing the journey while it’s still happening.
Zibby started from a simple belief. That our memories, our voices, and the stories that make us who we are can help connect us to past, ground us in the present, and build a better future. They deserve more than the group chat, the corny slide-show and half-finished journals. I’m building Zibby to fix that. To help people tell their story their way, connect more deeply with the people they love, and create something meaningful that lasts.
So this space will be a little bit of everything you’d expect from a first-time technical founder figuring it out in real time: personal growth, engineering notes, experiments, user feedback that changes everything, wins that feel huge, failures that sting, and the stresses and surprises that come with trying to build something that matters.
Short, honest, transparent. A living record of the journey — just like the product itself.
I’m figuring this out as I go. To start, I’m thinking I’ll do weekly entries and a month-in-review progress update bringing it all together.
Like the rest of Zibby, let me know if there’s something you want more or less of.
If you’re here early, thanks for being part of the story.
